ItineraryDay 1: Arrive Delhi Meet upon
arrival and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon orientation tour of Old Delhi,
passing the famous Red Fort and the Jama Masjid Mosque, Continue to New
Delhi, with its many British imperial buildings.
Stay overnight at
hotel.
Day 2: Delhi - ShekhawatiMorning drive to
Shekavati, check in at hotel upon arrival. Throughout this area mansions and
palaces are decorated inside and outside with detailed, vivid paintings and
frescoes.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Mandawa and FatehpurMorning
exploring the magnificent havelis (mansions), built by the rich merchants of
the area. Afternoon visit to Fatehpur where almost every street is flanked
with painted walls.

4: Shekhawati - BikanerDrive to Bikaner, in the Thar Desert for one
Night. Afternoon exploring the city, seeing the ancient Jain temples and
Junagrah fort.
Day 5: Bikaner - JaisalmerDrive to the
west of the Desert city of Jaisalmer, a perfect example of a walled city.
Check in at hotel upon arrival. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6:
JaisalmerMorning walk up to the fort, through narrow streets dotted
with temples and havelis. Late afternoon drive to a viewpoint to watch the
sunset, turning the city a deep Golden colour, also enjoy Camel ride at sand
dunes.

Day 7: Jaisalmer - KhimsarDrive
to the east to Khimsar, a tiny village on the fringe of the desert.

8: Khimsar - Nagaur - KhimsarToday you visit the medieval town of
Nagur, here see the 11th century mosque and fort, boasting numerous relics
from the days of the great Emperor Akbar and which is presently under
restoration.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Khimsar- JodhpurMorning
drive to Jodhpur for two nights stay. Check in at hotel upon arrival.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:
Jodhpur Morning exploring the magnificent Meharangrah Fort, which
reflects the citys glorious and troubled past. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Jodhpur -Roopangrah
Drive to the excellently covered Roopangrah. Check in at hotel upon arrival.
PM visit the impressive Roopangrah Fort. This building, built in 1635 was
capital of Maharaja of Kishangrah.
Day 12: Roopangrah -
Jaipur Morning at leisure, Afternoon drive to Rajasthans
Capital, Jaipur. Check in at hotel upon arrival.
Day 13: Jaipur Early morning drive past the Hawa Mahal (Palace of
winds), really just an elaborate façade. Continue to the spectacular
fort at Amber.
Afternoon exploring Jaipur city.
Overnight at
hotel.
Day 14: Jaipur - Agra Morning drive to Agra
via deserted sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by Akbar as his capital
but abandoned soon after, Evening visit to Taj Mahal at sunset.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Agra - Delhi -Departure Morning
visit to the imposing Agra fort and Itimad-ud-Dulah, otherwise known as the
Baby Taj, afternoon drive to Delhi via Akbars mausoleum at Sikandra,
drive to airport in Delhi for onward destination.
