Itinerary
Day
1: Delhi - Kesroli Meet upon arrival and drive on to Kesroli,
Check in at hotel.
Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the distant ring of
hills and plains.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Kesroli -
Alwar - Bharatpur Morning visit the stunning Indo - Islamic vinay
Vilas Palace in Alwar, continue on to Bharatpur. Check in at hotel upon
arrival.
Day 3: Bharatpur - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur
Morning drive to the deserted red sandstone of Fatehpur Sikri, built by
Akbar as his capital and abandoned soon after, Afternoon bird watching or
optional trip to Agra.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Bharatpur - Ranthambore Early morning bird watching in
Bharatpur bird sanctuary. Drive south to Ranthambore National Park for two
nights. Check in at hotel upon arrival.
Day 5: Ranthambore
Morning and evening game drives. There is an impressive range of birdlife in
the lakes and animal species including sambar, chital, Nilgai, wild boar,
sloth bear, tiger and leopard. Afternoon - visit Ranthambore fort.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Ranthambore - Bundi - Kota
Morning drive to Kota for two nights stay.
Enroute visit Bundi, seeing
the city Palace, and Taragrah Fort.
Afternoon visit to Kota city and
museum.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Kota
Excursion to the stunning 9th - 12th century temples at Baroli and the
impressive fort at Bainsrorgarh, with its impregnable site, surrounded by
water on three sides.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Kota - Menal - Chittorgrah Morning drive to Bijapur via the
12th century, temples at Menal. Stay two nights at Bijapur. Afternoon free
to take jeep out to the Pangarh Fort.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Chittorgarh Excursion to the fort at Chittorgrah, one of the
most spectacular in Rajasthan and replete with the remains of temples,
towers and palaces.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:
Chittorgrah - Bijanagar Morning drive to Bijanagar, check in at
hotel upon arrival.
Afternoon free for relaxing at this small
riverside village or walking by river.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Bijanagar - Pachewar Morning at leisure, exploring the
gardens or bird watching.
Afternoon drive to the 300-year-old fort at
Pachewar. Check in at hotel upon arrival.
Check in at hotel.
Day 12: Pachewar Excursion to the Kalian temple at Diggi and the
rarely visited stepwells at Toda Rai Singh.
Day 13: Pachewar - Samode Drive to Samode for two nights stay.
Day 14: Samode Drive to the spectacular fort at
Amber, after lunch explore Jaipur, seeing the Jantar Mantar observatory and
drive past the ornate Hawa Mahal (Palace of the winds) really just an
elaborate façade.
Overnight at Samode.
Day 15:
Samode - Neemrana Morning drive to Neemrana for Lunch and to
explore the rambling fort Palace. Continue to Delhi International airport
for flight to onward destination.
